It’s that time of year again!
As you’re all preparing to spend time with your friends and family, it’s very important to remember to keep personal health and safety a priority. It’s easy to be distracted from organizing friends, family, food and all the technical aspects of planning for your holiday and allow accidents to happen. Cooking accidents, whether from chopping veggies or from your Dad finally trying out that turkey frying fad this year. Also, proper health precautions from bacteria contamination, while cooking raw meat and poultry, should be remembered. Make sure you thoroughly wash all surfaces that come into contact with raw meat and also remember to keep that thermometer handy.
