With which doctors and hospitals are you affiliated?
Georgia Physicians for Accountable Care (GPAC) is a group of physicians across the state who wanted to better serve patients by offering an alternative to hospital-run emergency and urgent care. We hope to provide our patients with affordable and compassionate care–just as if you were seeing your Primary Care Physician during office hours.
Who can be seen? What patients do you treat?
We are happy to treat all ages and urgent care needs. If you are unable to schedule an appointment with your primary care physician because it is after business hours or there are scheduling conflicts, then we would love for you to visit one of our two convenient locations in Macon and Gray, GA.
Can I afford immediate care? How expensive will it be?
Yes! Your Doctor’s Immediate Care facilities accept most major health insurance*, so you only pay your co-pay for an office visit. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash or check.
I don’t have insurance–can I receive treatment?
Yes, we are happy to accept self-pay patients; however, you will have to pay a flat rate before your appointment. Contact our office for more information on the current rates for self-payment.
Do I need to make an appointment?
If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call our office; however, walk-ins will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you or a loved one is experiencing a true medical emergency, please call 911 or visit your closest Emergency Room.
What do I need to bring to the clinic?
Please bring your driver’s license, insurance card (if applicable), and a current list of your medications. Upon arrival, our Receptionist will provide you with paperwork to check you into the facility and accept your co-pay for the office visit.
*Your Doctor’s Immediate Care can no longer accept Secure Health, Tricare, Aetna, or Medicaid — this includes Amerigroup, Peach State, and Wellcare.
